● Bow when entering and leaving the dojo as a sign of respect.
● Keep the dojo clean and organized at all times.
● Arrive on time for class. If you are late, wait at the edge of the dojo until the instructor grants permission to join.
● Wear a clean and properly tied uniform (gi) with your belt.
● Remove jewelry, watches, and accessories before training to avoid injury.
● Bow to the instructor (Sensei) and fellow students before and after training.
● Bow when stepping onto and off the mat.
● Maintain silence and focus during class.
● Refrain from unnecessary talking or distractions.
● Address instructors as “Sensei” and show courtesy to senior students.
● Listen carefully to instructions and follow them respectfully.
● Maintain personal hygiene, including clean uniforms and trimmed nails.
● Avoid wearing strong perfumes or scents.
● Practice control during sparring and drills to avoid injuring yourself or others.
● Inform the instructor immediately if you feel unwell or sustain an injury.
● Be open to learning, accept corrections humbly, and never show arrogance.
● Support and encourage your peers during training.
● The dojo is a place of discipline, humility, and growth. Always train with respect and a willingness to learn.
● If you need to leave the mat or class early, inform the instructor and bow before leaving.
